If someone has a part time job, and receives £8,100 and it doesn't go through the PAYE system, then do HMRC need to know about this?

Hi Samantha,
As 8100 is above the tax free limit of 7475 then i think it should be included in a self assessment if not through a PAYE system.
How did you find the rest of the exam.
