Hi All
Hope someone can help, I am looking at becoming a MIP I recently bacame MAAT and was wondering what steps to take next ?
I also currently do 1 self assesment for a friend with no charge as wanted the experience and also set a ltd co up for another friend where I raise there invoices, submit vat returns and process there purchase invoices again all FOC to gain some experience.
If I were to become a MIP and gain a client portfolio would it be worth investing in sage, I currently only use excel for everything or is this suffice ?
Thanks in advance for any advice

Hiya,
This has been debated in many other threads see this one

Sage can be quite cumbersome when you want to make amendments and the audit trail is quite poor, tracing trasactions can take a while.
I'm a fan of clever excel sheets until you get into large volumes of transactions
In Addition, wish you all the best starting out!! Exciting times im sure.0
