Help for a newby!!!

I've not yet started Technician, but everyone is already making a huge deal about this MAS project! As I understand it's very time comsuming and important. The thing is, and don't think i'm silly, but how do you decide what you are going to do the project on. We were given no particular direction at the end of Intermmediate, only a copy of a very bad one to read!! Are there choices to pick from, or is it just a case of whatever - please could someone point me in the right direction with any possibilities or ideas - urgently!!!! <BR><BR>Many thanks!

    Hi Kim,<BR>You have to do the project preferably on an accounting system at your workplace. I did mine on changing a stationery store to an alternative stock system including possible ways to stop fraud, and showing the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed new system to the current system. Most of my class managed to complete it by Christmas but I had completed it after several redrafts by late November. I advise that you back it up on your computer and on floppy or CD just in case you lose your work or notes.<BR><BR>If you aren't in an environment where you can do a project on a system with your current employer an former employer will probably do or if neither of these your tutor will discuss other possibilities how to complete the project.<BR><BR>Andrew

Would you mind answering the following...?<BR><BR>My class and myself were all under the impression that you had to implement a new process, see it through for the duration of the course and review it the end. However from the description of your project, this does not appear to be the case - please could you clarify this for me?!<BR><BR>Also, does the new process have to be implemented to make the project vaild?     Hi,<BR><BR>Also a newby on the Technicians course (and here too). I have an idea on what to do for this mind blowing project that has to meet alsorts of critera, but just dont know how to actually start it and get all the right stuff in it!<BR><BR>I mean whats to know about implementing a Sage Line 50 system as against all them T accounts!!
