Hi All Distance Learners,

How long roughly did you spend on each unti in level 4?

I've spent about 6 weeks on Budgeting and have my exam on Monday. But looking at the size of FNPF I think I'm going to need a bit longer!

I normally study about 10-12 hours a week

Thanks!

    Hi Molly,

I'm a distance learner using BPP. I got my first level 4 result back today for FNPF (a pass- yay). I'd based my exam timing on level 3 and gave myself 3 weeks for FNPF, which was a huge mistake.
I've no idea how I got through, but for me 3 weeks was no where near enough. Not whilst working full time, fitting in round a young family, gigantic bouncy dog etc etc..

I guess it all depends on how fast you learn and what your other commitments are. Like you I've given myself 6 weeks for Budgeting - 2 left before my exam.

Oh and it wasn't a bright idea to study FNPF before Budgeting :blushing:

I'd say 6 weeks for FNST and FNPF, 3 to 4 weeks for the tax modules and budgeting and the rest of my days trying to do the ICAS project lol.

    Neil.

Congrats Nightshade on the pass :thumbup1:

Hopefully I will finish the FNPF book this weekend. So far it just seems to be things covered in Budgeting and Costs and Revenues so I'm not freaking out yet! I'm sure I will be though as alot of people have said how difficult it is.
