Hello - does anyone know if it is easily possible to obtain the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting following on from the AAT qualification? IIUC having the AAT gives you an exemption for this - but I'd like to sign up for it and be able to add the CIMA letters to my various online skills profiles which seem to be regularly searched by recruiters and the like.
Thanks
M.

You do have to pay for the exemptions so possibly. The only way to confirm this is by calling CIMA directly.
Please let me know, as I wouldn't mind adding the CIMA certificate letters to my CV!0 -
Hi
You won't be awarded the certificate if you claim the exemptions. If you want the certificate you'll need to decline one of the exemptions and take the exam.

Neil is right, to a point. You won't be awarded a certificate.
But if you become a CIMA student and pay for your exemptions you will be deemed to have a 'CIMA recognised equivalent' qualification and therefore can use the letters CIMA Cert BA after your name.
