I've got:

4 awaiting payment/signed accounts
5 waiting for final information from clients
6 to process (my assistant has started all of these though, so hopefully no horrors in there!)
8 haven't received anything yet.

And one VAT return where I've not received the information yet (and one where I'm waiting for a couple of answers to questions).

I think I'm better than last year, def less stressed about it all!

    7 to file
    7 awaiting signatures/payment
    9 awaiting meetings/info from clients
    2 to finalise
    2 currently working on
    4 in but not started
11 awaiting records (3 will not happen)

Not too bad. Was looking a lot worse the other day. Overall worse than last year though.
    Regards,

2 draft tax returns to be approved
2 VAT jobs 99% done, and just waiting for some replies to a question on here, before finishing
1 full job to do, easy as pie - couple of hours work.
1 job that is in progress, but previous accountant not replying to professional clearance and info request

I threaten to talk my clients to death if they don't cough up their info early - from about July onwards! LOL

31 jobs left to do. This doesn't include those draft returns out for signature.

2 or 3 still to come in.

Picked up 2 new clients this month - with deadlines this month.

Definitely doable but I NEED to get on top of my director's tax returns sooner next year.

Paperwork arrived for one last night - client question "Will it be submitted on time to avoid the penalty?". :tongue_smilie:

Doing my first return for two family members and need their UTRs!! They have no time to call HMRC though so not confident it'll get done before the deadline :( And I'm at work (not in practice) AND I have college tonight until 21:00!

I was pretty much all done yesterday - filed lots today but they were mostly just ones needing signatures/ approvals.

VERY efficient this year - definitely need to take the same approach this year and crack on, not get into "Ah, relax time" mentality like I usually do. I have too much to do to take time off in Feb!
