On 9th Jan I requested that 2 agent authorisation codes be sent to a new client - one for CIS and one for PAYE. He's just scanned in the letters and emailed them to me. I entered the CIS one fine but the PAYE has simply vanished from my list. They're definately not already on my authorised client list. the code says it's to be used by 8th Feb so it hasn't expired yet.
Is there any point phoning the helpline or should i just request another code? anyone experienced this before?

I always struggle with PAYE if they have had a previous accountant. I was told that you had to do a paper form not 64-8 something like FR1. I will try and find correct name0

Do you have a second user set up for HMRC as well as yourself? If so you may need to sign in through the government gateway rather than the HMRC website and allocate the client that is not listed on the HMRC website to a user.0
