Hello all - not quite a newbie

Hi all,

Now that i have posted a handful of times and will be posting more regularly i will introduce myself:

I'm obviously James!, 25 years young from sunny Surrey. I have been aat qualified for over 3 years and aca qualified for over a year.

I worked in practice for over 5 years and made the switch to industry in May last year in my latest role as management accountant/assistant finance controller at Harlequins rugby club.

I wanted to become a MIP recently for a few reasons, mainly to keep my knowledge fresh on the practice side of things and to earn a bit of an extra income. Unfortunately i have to wait another 12 months due to ICAEW requiring 2 years post qualification experience first.

Anyways I want to be ready in 12 months time so will be on here regularly to keep up to date with all what is going on in the world of accountancy!

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone on here and learning from some of the resident guru's!
