What was the largest amount of tax payable?

I have been involved with a case that resulted in me advising a client to pay a lot, and is the most I have told anyone to pay whilst being an MiP - eek! :ohmy:

A client (in the firm that I work for) is a partner in a LLP and because no payments on account were made (1st year) the tax bill was £98k. Any advances?

And, yes, she did manage to pay the entire bill without any fuss.

Personally I have surprised myself that little ol' me was involved with such numbers :001_smile: especially when you consider anything South of Bristol isn't recognised!

We had one in my employer's firm for around £250k. Includes capital gains etc though.
