Cost Book-Keeping for Variances

Please can anyone help!!!!<BR><BR>I am sitting the RCI Exam tomorrow and need to know where <BR>Variances get entered in the accounts, i.e which type is a credit, debit, etc!!!

    adverse variances are bad = debits<BR>favourable variances are good = credits
