As the title really I had my level 3 certificate through today and on the back it has credits per unit, what do these mean?
Does it mean if I did better in the exam I would have got more credits?

The link explains it all but basically the number of credits relate to the expected number of learner hours so gives an indication of the size/level of the qualification. Credits are awarded in all kinds of qualifications and they can be accumulated to perhaps fulfil entry criteria for further studies etc.
Oh, and no, they are not affected by how well you do, just that you passed it.0
