Hi I hope someone can help me with this.
The cost is in region of £20k, the application is finished and has users using it and it is a free download. at present there is no revenue.
should the cost be capitalised or keep in revenue and use the loss to offset future income?
I'd appreciate some comments please.

I have not come across research & development in real life (only studying) but I believe computer software development costs should be capitalised and then amortised when the software becomes available to the public.0
