Market Trends for bookkeepers

Hi

I'm completing a business plan for New Enterprise Allowance and I need some figures relating to the market for bookkeeping eg % growth in the bookkeeping market, market worth, etc.

I've already googled, but can only find either out of date information or figures relating to the US. I've had a look on the AAT website too, but can't seem to find anything.

Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of some figures please? I'm not looking for anything particularly in depth, just enough to write a couple of lines.

I don't know if you'll find exactly what you need, but have you looked on the website for the Office for National Statistics? www.statistics.gov.uk Might take a bit of digging, but that's where I'd look.
