Hello everybody,
I'm looking to buy a new tablet to take with me when visiting clients. I think it's time I done away with the bulky laptop :001_smile:
Can anyone recommend an efficient one?
My wife's got an iPad, which I like but I don't think you can download PDFs or excel. I stand to be corrected of course :001_tongue:
Many thanks in advance
Mike

My co-director has an iPad that he uses when he goes to clients and he can download PDFs and Excel related things.
I think an iPad also looks better than a bulky laptop.
Best wishes

Prepare to be corrected!

I've got an iPad which I use for client meetings... etc. PDFs you can open no problem, either those that are emailed to you, or those that you've got stored locally or in a cloud-based service such as DropBox... etc.
Same goes for Excel spreadsheets, you just need to install an app that can handle them; I use CloudOn (which is free, and works nicely together with my DropBox account), and I also have OfficeProHD which was about £13 and, so far, I don't actually find very easy to use, but that's possibly more to do with a lack of time investment on my own part than the app itself.0
