Hi everyone.
I am 33 years old and I am about to complete AAT level 2 Accounting certificate and will be taking Level 3 in september. But can a student member who has gained the level 2 start running a bookkeeing service from home or is this unacceptable to the AAT. I am really struggking to find employment as I have spent the last 6 years in retail.
All advice welcome.

Hi
For me it is whether you feel experienced enough..I have completed level 2 and 3 and I am ploughing my way through
Level 4 and I am just starting to feel like I could do people's books...it is also depends on previous experience
As I worked In management with very little accountancy experience...

Thank you sarah. I havent been experiencing much luck on the jobs market. I have just managed to gain a voluntary role bookkeeping for a local beavers and cubs group. Although basic, its a start. Im scared I'll end up qualified with no experience.0
