A bit of advice re: ATT or what?

Hi everyone.
I had my review at work today and I'm not sure what to do. My boss has always known that I would like too do ACA but we were discussing this today and basically as our firm is so small etc he is not sure that the firm could support another Chartered accountant (I'm very happy where I work, we all get on, its very varied as we get to do everything from book-keeping to Audit and everything in between), but if I want he is more than willing for me to do my tax qualifications, ideally to CTA and become the tax advisor for the firm.
I'm trying to look into it all and have also emailed CIOT for guidance but I'm not sure how I need to go about it, do I need to do ATT first as I only have AAT at present, or is there a way to go straight to CTA? I will carry on looking into it myself but thought asking here may provide quicker answers as the boss would like to get me started ASAP.
I have also seen tonight about the ACA ATT partnership which would grant me membership to both which I am going to show him tomorrow.
Regards

Page 4 of the CTA prospects details the entrance requirements.
In short, you would have to do ATT first.0
