Financial Statements and baby brain - not a good mix

Does anyone have any advice on how to remember the accounting standards involved with FNST?

I've managed to retain ratio analysis calculations, 1. because I initially learnt them whilst I was still pregnant and 2. because of the FNPF exam, but I am struggling to retain any new information.

I usually remember things by writing them down and rewriting, but there is so much to remember with mainly the application of the accounting standard that I am drawing a blank.

Any tips or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
