How do I find out info regarding a registered charity?

How do I find out info regarding a registered charity, such as the number of trustees and their names etc?

Charities Commission website should have everything you're after: http://www.charitycommission.gov.uk/

I've tried that website - it doesn't tell me how many trustees there or, nor the names.

Hmm, that's the one we always use, as that's where annual returns have to be filed. I've never had a problem seeing trustees. As that's the 'Companies House' of the charities world I don't know if there would be another source that guarantees to have the info you're after, I'm assuming you've looked at the Charity's own website? Is the charity you're looking for exempt from registration (normally because they're accountable to another body, for example a lot of Housing Associations are accountable to Councils so don't have to submit to the Charities Commission)?

I've now found out the info from that website.
