6Hi all,

can someone possibly give an answer to the below please, it's been bugging me for days!

-Two directors of a Ltd co take a basic salary of £650 per month each (£7,800 pa).
-Both have standard tax code (944L)
-They use basic RTI package from HMRC

Month1 tax due was £1.38
Month2 tax due was £96.50 and NI £162.63

I thought it would be zero tax for the year and about £6 NI for the year?

Hope someone can work it out and explain!

Thanks,
J

Only guessing but it doesn't look like the package is recognising them as directors in month 2.

Sounds to me statement C has been ticked and using BR code, this may be human error...........check if its BR and change to statement A.....
