Once I’m AAT-qualified, will I gain exemptions for university?

The short answer is: yes. The AAT qualification is roughly equivalent to the first year of a university degree. You'll have 160 UCAS points upon completion of Level 3, with no extra points upon completion of Level 4.

We have a list of institutions and universities that offer exemptions for AAT-qualified members, but we still recommend you contact the individual institutions to confirm their exemption policies.

To help you during your university studies, we'll reduce your full membership (MAAT) subscription by over 50% during this time. This means you'll keep the status, support and benefits that come with professional membership while you train.
