ACCA - stopping at 'Advanced Diploma' level

I'm seriously contemplating whether to stop my ACCA studies after finishing the F exams. After reading that ACCA awards the Advance Diploma in Accounting and Business after completing all F exams, I'm feeling tempted to not go on to the full qualification. After some reflection I've realised that I'm not aspiring to be a Finance Director, a partner in an accountancy firm or anything high level of that sort and the prospects of having to manage a large team really scares me. I currently work in a finance role where an AAT qualification is sufficient. I will probably want to change jobs in the future, but I know I wouldn't feel comfortable in a job like my manager's. He is a qualified accountant and the pressures he is under at work is much more than what I could handle.
I've continued with my studies after AAT because I just like studying, passing exams give me a really good feeling, but I think I'm running out of steam. It's getting more and more difficult to find the motivation to study and the worst is that I don't really see the point of it without wanting to use the qualification to its full potential.

Currently my employer pays for my revision courses and exam fees, I get paid leave for exam days and to go to courses, so it's tempting as well to just continue. However, knowing how many more years it'll take me to finish ACCA and that I'll have to refund all payments if I leave my job within a year of qualifying, I feel that I'd rater finish this study contract sooner than later. Of course another question is whether my boss will let me off the hook if I finish with just a diploma. I'd think he won't mind as they only support me because I asked for it, it wasn't something they wanted me to do.

Sorry for the long story, my question is really: What do you think about this 'Advanced Diploma'? Is it worth anything? Have any of you heard of it how it's perceived by employers?
Thanks for reading all this.
