How do I become a full AAT member (MAAT)?

To become a full AAT member you’ll need to have completed AAT Level 4, which means you’re AAT-qualified, and to have gained one year’s relevant work experience. You can then apply for full AAT membership, and once your application has been processed you’ll be able to use the letters MAAT after your name.

You can apply for full AAT membership online. We start assessing your application as soon as you provide all of the relevant information, and our assessment should take about two weeks. We’ll confirm your full AAT membership in writing and we’ll also send you a certificate and a MAAT welcome pack.
