Allowable Business Expense

Hi,
a director of a company uses an office in the home, the only deduction currently in the accounts is the £4 per week use of residence. The office has recently been decorated and had a new carpet, which the business paid for. Are both these costs an allowable deduction as a business expense? Will there be any CGT implications when the house is sold?
Thank you for the help!
