What to study with F5

I have studied halfway through F5 the first half of this year, but gave it up to focus on F6 for the June exams.
I am planning on taking the exam in December and was going to study it along with F8. Having read various threads the general thought seems to be take F5 and F9 together.
What combinations did everyone else do?

I'm doing F5 and F9 together, but for no other reason than they're the only F papers I have left to do.
Which F papers have you already done? I found a bit of common ground in F4 and F8 (board members responsibilities) - handy that I did them together but not enough for me to say definitely do them together. I also found a bit of overlap between F7 and F8, again handy that I did them together, but again, not enough to say definitely do them together (though F7 and F8 is a common combination).
I've not started F9 yet but have nearly finished F5 and so far I'd say F5 is the easiest paper so far (content wise - not started on the revision kit yet so can't comment on what the F5 exams are like).0 -
One thing I have noticed is that ratios crop up in lots of the F papers. If you find them straightforward, then don't worry, but if you find them difficult, perhaps try and combine papers which include them, so you get lots of practice with them at the same time, and then don't need to worry about them afterwards (F5, F7 and F8 and F9 no doubt).0

Thanks Nps, I will do F5 and F9 together. It would make sense to do Audit and Financial Reporting together later on.
I have completed F4 and F6 already.
Like I said I have already studied some of the syllabus for F5. Most of us dropped off the unit at college as the tutor was lacking in knowledge and teaching skills. I am going to go it alone for the December exams.0
