spreadsheets difficulty

Hi

I m doing spreadsheets, im using the 2010, but following the bpp book explaining in 2010.

When inserting this formulae =B18*(1+$B7) i get a percentage figure.

B18 = 42000
and B7 is 3%

The figure im looking for is 43260, however i get 4326000.00%

Im not showing what to do here.

I think ive got it, cell was formatted to percentages.
