I purchased a samsung Galaxy tab at Christmas so I could watch the free lectures on OpenTution. Only problem was flash was no longer compatible with Android.
Following a thread on OpenTution I have dowloaded the Puffin browser and now the videos work. Going to make studying a little easier not having to drag my laptop everywhere :001_smile:

That's great to hear. Did you downloaded the Puffin browser from the play store and was it free?
I am looking at investing in a tablet as it would be more portable than my weighty laptop and would make studying in my lunch break so much easier!
Would you recommend the Galaxy Tab? Is the screen large enough for watching the lectures? My other option I am considering is a net book.
Any views/comments would be appreciated

I downloaded it from the Play store. I think the flash enabled content is only free for 14 days but there seems to be various codes on the reviews online to extend the free element.
I love my tab, but I think it depends whether you are an apple fan or an android fan. I paid about £200 for it at Christmas and received a £50 cash back from Samsung. It is a 10 inch tablet so the screen is a fairly large size. Great for reading online texts and watching lectures.
My son has the 7 inch version which he watchs sky on and its an adequate size and lighter than mine. If you have a tesco extra near you pop in and have a muck around with one. Also if you are due to upgrade your phone I think the Carphone Warehouse were giving them away with certain tariffs0
