Hello,

This is my final submission of my ICAS report and I'm struggling on this area:

*What kind of system requirements can I suggest? I'm writing about the accounts receivable department and we currently use Sage.

My minds gone blank and my deadline is today!

Any suggestions would be great.

I've answered a question like this before on the forum: a good thing to do is to do a bit of research into different accounting packages that are available (e.g., Quick Books, Clear Books etc). You can then use this to suggest what accounting package could benefit the company. You can also include how much the package costs in the 'cost and benefit' analysis. Both the research into the accounting packages and the cost and benefit analysis can be put in your appendix, so that it is not included in your word count.

If you're doing a case study, it may refer to a networked system. You can also do a bit of research into the advantages and disadvantages of a networked system, which can also be put in your appendix.
