Business tax, should I start it now or wait till next year?

I'm just about to make a start studying Business tax and hoping to take the exam in December.

I have passed every exam first time so far, but I'm worried that if I have to retake this one next year, will the retake be based on this year's finance act or next years?

If I have to study next year's finance act, does anyone know if the changes are major or just a few minor changes?
