just wondering how people that have taken this exam found it, and if you guys have any advice/tips for me.

I did this exam quite some time ago and found it ok.

Don't worry too much about remembering the rates etc. as these are available as pop up menus in the exam.

Learn the different dates/deadlines/fines etc. regarding registration, submission of self assessment and PoA.

Be confident in the writing section - usually a letter to a client.
