Capital allowances question

Hi everyone
I have a client who runs dog agility classes. She has bought about £1000 of new equipment in 12/13. This is a really stupid question but would this be covered by capital allowances? I'm just being cautious because obviously it isn't something she buys to sell on but something that is used directly with her sales (ie the dogs). Thank you

Yes, sounds like capital expenditure to me. You could use Annual Investment Allowance if she wishes to get the full benefit in the first year. Hope that helps.0
