Completing self assessment?

Hi

I've been asked to complete a self assessment for a family friend.

She only has small income as courier and pension. Small expenses also.

Where I work I just prepare income and expenditure accounts etc and tax comps.

This sounds a very silly question but should I produce a income and expenditure account for her and where do I stand on estimates. At work we do use of home etc, cleaning etc.

I'm not to sure on what to claim, ie should I put in phone bills but do an add back etc. and what about car as she uses her own, but only works 3 afternoons in a week.

This is all stuff I could know but I think the fear has completely blanked me!!
