Can anyone help me with the depreciation policy and rate that should be used as I have been given varying views?

Capitalisation of Website Costs
UITF 29 covers website costs and talks about how they should be depreciated over the UEL as per FRS 15. It does however say that the UEL will be "short" due to fast rate of technological innovation.<BR><BR>In practice I have never seen this exceed 5 yrs.<BR><BR>A stright line depn over 3 yrs is I believe "standard" treatment.0
