Want to work in Practice

Hi Guys,

So, I am fully AAT qualified currently studying ACCA (not enjoying though, like I did AAT)..
I really want to work in practice where I can start dealing with peoples taxes and financial statements etc.. but I only have industry experience, Iv been working in a finance department for 6 years now been AAT qualified since May 2011..

I really wanted to start my own bookkeeping business as well, but im concerned I wont get a practice licence because I don't have any practice experience..

I no the pay can be a bit lower in practice while studying as well..

Has anyone made this jump from industry to practice, and started their own business straight from industry??
