First I'd like to say Hi to everyone and that this is probably the best forum I've ever been on!

Really hope someone can answer my what I hope is a very simple question.

Me and my partner are setting up a beauty business and I plan on doing the accounts for the business, so with that in mind I started the AAT this year (nearly finished Level2), so what I would like to know is can I put my AAT training costs as a expense on the business?

Thank Cain

    Dear Cain
Of course you can and probably your travel to classes as well.
You are studying AAT because you want to do the accounts for the business.
This page links directly to the HMRC if you need to register

    The very best wishes

Thanks for the Sandy, now I that I know I can put it in my accounts, I assume it goes capital cr and training dr?

Also I am right from what I've read on the HMRC site the any training in the beauty side cannot be put in as an expense?

    Again thanks for your help.
