Hi fellow AATers.
I am due to sit my 1st 2 level 4 exams on Thursday (financial performance and budgeting).
I was just wondering how long I should set aside for the 2 writing tasks.

It depends on how happy you are with the rest of the content! I think a safe bet is usually to spend 5 or 10 minutes when you get to the question sticking in a quick answer, even in the form of bullet points, that covers the key points, thus ensuring if you run out of time you can still pick up half the marks or possibly more. Once you've finished everything else (less anything you're really stuck on that will hold you up) go back and write the 'nice' version of your answer for the extra marks on communication and presentation or whatever it is!
That said, if you know the content well, the rest of the questions really don't take long, so time shouldn't be an issue.
