Mortgage reference - won't accept AAT

Hey y'all!
Long time no see!
I have a client who is applying for a mortgage with one of the few lenders who are insisting on an ACA to sign off the accounts. The two people I'd normally ask aren't able to assist.
What do other members do in this situation? This could very easily lose my client the house.

I have found most mortgage companies are now asking for SA1's from HMRC now as proof of earnings rather than a signed reference0

I have only once come across it before and I used a local chartered accountant I know. However most are willing to accept a reference and/or SA302's from HMRC. I think AAT still like to know lenders that will not accept a reference from it's members so may be worth asking membership support.Regards,
