Hi Everyone, I am looking for some advice on starting up my own practice and was wondering how to go about it and what other peoples experiences were, both good and bad. Any feedback would be welcome. Thanks in advance. Dave

I suggest you have a look around these forums and on Accounting Web for lots of various ideas and help on starting up. Top tips are do some research and know your target clients and those you wish to avoid. Know how and how much you are going to charge. Personally I left employment back in 2009 and things went very well. We now have in the region of 200 clients. There are some things I would do slightly different if starting again but overall being prepared and planning have helped a lot.Regards,
