Note: This AAT study support session is suitable for students studying either AQ2010 Accounts preparation I (API) or AQ2013 Accounts preparation (ACPR). The event is not appropriate for students with no prior knowledge of one of these AAT Level 3 units.
Outline & agenda
This AAT study support session, delivered by Kaplan Financial, will be in the form of a case study which covers all areas of the syllabus. The tutor will guide you through the case study, briefing and de-briefing the tasks within the case study. The case study will also focus on the following four key areas which students tend to struggle with:
• Ledger accounts for non-current assets
• Accounting for accruals and prepayments
• Journal entries or adjustments in ETB
• Reconciliations – control accounts and bank
