My client has just started giving me childcare receipts - she insists that 'her old accountant used to let her put them through' I'm right that they aren't allowable as not wholly and exclusively for the business?
Thank you

I believe you are correct, I think it's only childcare provided by an employer that's allowable.0

Is this a limited company client or a sole trader? As a limited company she will be a director I presume and therefore instead of childcare vouchers you can contract directly with the childcare provider and therefore just claim the costs. If she is a sole trader then no not allowable. May be a time to consider incorporation though obviously looking at the other normal aspects.Regards,

Thank you, just as I thought!0
