Capital reserves

Hello Just going over revision with fine tooth comb now. The capital reserve contains non trading activities such as share premium. To confirm would this also be share capital? I'm guessing yes.. Thanks

    Hello Topcat

Capital reserves are the part of the balance sheet that isn't liabilities, basically equity. So yes, share premium would be included. Also retained earnings, any part of retained earnings allocated to a separate reserve and revaluation reserves.
