Financial Statements - accounting standards

in AAT Level 4 (Level 8 in Scotland)
Hello,

I am currently studying the Financial Statements unit and just wondered how much information we need to know on the accounting standards.

I've got the list of the 14 standards, some of which are summarised quite well, but some are extremely long!

I understand we are supposed to know what each one means as such, but how much of the detail of each are we expected to remember?

    You are doing the right thing. Just summarize as much as you can. If you remember the key points it will be enough to pull you through.

    Level 3 - 2012

    F5 - Performance Management - Dec 2014 (passed)
    F6 - Taxation - Dec 2013 (passed)
    F7 - Financial Reporting - Jun 2014 (passed)
    F8 - Audit & Assurance - Dec 2015 (passed)
    F9 - Financial Management - Jun 2015 (passed)
