Any MIP's experienced difficulty recently with getting mortgage references accepted by Nationwide. Would be interested in hearing of your experience and how you dealt with it.

I haven't prepared a certificate for Nationwide for a while, so I haven't personally had any problems with them. I have prepared a few certificates recently (Santander, Virgin, Halifax) with no problems. I understand that many lenders are becoming more difficult nowadays. Many lenders no longer accept the ATT qualification, perhaps lenders are also starting to not accept AAT qualification. You may have to send the SA302s, it is becoming more common for lenders to request these instead of accountants certificates. HMRC will usually fax the SA302 to you, if you still have a fax!0
