Hi,
why is the answer £4640 not the one i have selected please when the annual value is higher?
Rent paid by employer =
(£420 × 12) = £5,040
Less: Rent paid by Cyd (£80 × 12)

Hi EmJane
you take the higher of
- annual value (£5600) less rent paid by employee (12 x£80) = £4640
- rents paid by employer (12 x£420) less rent paid by employee (12 x£80) = £4080
Higher is £46400
