Are any Welsh members or students going to the "Wales We Want" event tomorrow at the Swansea Business School (part of the University of Wales Trinity St Davids) The eveny is being jointly arranged by the Professional Group (which AAT is a member), ACCA and the University. The event starts at 9:30 and is due to end 15:30 and has the objective of the development of the mutual understanding of the future impact of the Well-being of Future Generations Bill and the role that profession can play The speakers include Peter Davies the Sustainable Future Commissioner, Jeff Brown from PwC on the administrative impact of the Bill, Jane Davidson on the future, and a case study presented by me. I will be comparing the initial white paper to the draft bill and highlighting my concerns as a practitioner.
You can book onto the event through ACCA or AAT using the University's "Eventbrite" link.
Looking forward to meeting up with some of you there.
