ACCA - Some help with information?

Hi all,
So, i've got the possibility of perhaps getting funding for my ACCA which is awesome. However i've had to provide some information to my company, and one of them is how long it'll take me.
If i'm right, I can start at F4 as AAT will exempt me from F1-F3?
I'm considering 2 exams per sitting, but just wondered what happened if you fail one? Is there a separate date you can retake it on, or does it carry forward into the next sitting?
F4 appears to be a CBE now - does this mean that you can sit the paper at any time, or is it still in the sitting?
Thanks for any help

Hi
ACCA offer paper based sittings 4 times a year from 2015. At each exam sitting you can take "new" exam or retakes, you basically enter for the papers you wish to sit - currently a maximum of four at each sitting.
F4 is going to CBE and all other papers are remaining paper based (for now), but you will also need to consider the dates that courses run for. I know that at least some of the main providers are still planning on running course to coincide with the June and December sittings.
Also, some of the papers at the final level are quite challenging, it's not unusual for students to do the Corporate Reporting paper on its own.
