Main Base is A and employee is required to travel to other locations B and C. Mileage between A and B is 70 miles round trip; Mileage between A and C is 35 miles round trip. Home to Main Base is 15 miles round trip.
On Monday - employee travels to location B but starts from home - his mileage claim should be 70 - 15 = 55 miles
On Tuesday - employee travels to location C but starts from home - his mileage claim should be 35 - 15 = 20 miles
Is this the correct assumption for the mileage expenses?
