Self Employed Partnership

Hi there,
I have a client who was a partnership entity, so I used to file their 2 SA and 1 Partnership R.
They ceased the Partnership, to save money on filing and to go back to being SA.
They have contacted me to file SA for them both, they have a 50% share of the same business. Surely this is still a partnership, if there are more than one person in a self employed business then it becomes a partnership?

Yes, there only way to avoid a partnership[ return would be to each be self-employed and subcontract work between them. Would be a whole lot of hassle and with our fees probably wouldn't save them anything anyway.Regards,
