So stressful and despite trying to forget it's not happening!

Vodkajules I thought you had passed that as your signature says passed in June 14..?

lewpylew - Statements was definitely my hardest exam to study for... well done you for coming back after 4 years. I took off nearly 2 years when I fell pregnant with my 3rd boy... was just too much with everything else to carry on studying LOL

Chimpette, I was thinking the same and thought it was me going mad!

Have a 1 year old so it's been very hard! Passed ICAS in December so that was a relief so just this one to go. Will be devastated if I fail as means level 4 doesn't mean anything as done under 2010 standards and no way am I doing all my exams etc again.

It's sending me stir crazy waiting, thinking I've passed, failed etc.

I have a 6, 3 and 1 year old. And I agree it's hard work. I spoke to my tutor who advised that even if I fail this, all the passes carry over to 2013 standards, so yours should too I think. Not that your going to need that as your going to pass!

I'm just doing my ISYS now, and I got to admit I'm struggling, don't even know where to start LOL I'm hoping once the boys in bed tonight to have a look, otherwise I'll have a look on my commute to work tomorrow, that train ride comes in handy for things like this LOL

Perhaps AAT could put more resource into marking exams and less into marketing

I must admit the waiting is a pain when you don't have a results date. I have sat all of my previous exams the paper based way, you knew the wait was around 12 weeks, but you also knew what date you would find out.

I appreciate that it is now much better to only have to wait around 6 weeks, but feel it would be better for both the markers and the students if a results date way given, that way we would not have to keep checking online many times a day!

It would also be useful if the text message stating that the results were online was received at the same time rather than 3 days later!!

I realise that the exams have an element that has to be manually processed but even if the date was put back to around 8 weeks after the exam in order to make sure everything is marked etc, it would still be better than the unknown results day we currently have.

    What does everyone else think??

Yep I was saying the same thing at work yesterday! It's so so stressful waiting especially when it's the last exam needed to complete the qualification and knowing potentially everything you've taken on level 4 becomes void as you are on old standards and can't be transferred.

I don't understand why the date varies so much. I've had 4 weeks and 3 days, 5 weeks and 2 days and now this time around it's 5 weeks and 2 days and counting. I'd rather know it's a set date so I can try to forget it.

Last time the email did come 3/4 days later and I checked by chance which is a serious flaw in the system. It's great to have a computer exam as I found it a lot 'easier' than a paper one but the results bit sucks :(

Another day of checking, trying to forget, checking etc beckons and potentially another 5 days of this! I think I'll get mine tomorrow evening (maybe wishful thinking!)

    Good Luck Lewpylew

As you know we are both awaiting the last exam to complete Level 4. I have been told that should I fail auditing I just need to resit it under the 2013 standards and that I will not have to resit the whole level 4 again. It may be an idea for you to check this with your learning provider.

I wish that I had known this at the time, as I feel that I tried to cram a completely new subject in by distant learning, and took the exam earlier than I felt comfortable with, just to meet the 31st December deadline I was told I had to pass by. I would have preferred to have had the luxury of studying over the 2 week Christmas period I had off of work and taking the exam this month instead, rather than trying to study, run a family and work etc.

    Good Luck.

I've already checked and alas it's all or nothing!! :( I understand standards have to change but just sickening to have worked so hard and it could be worthless. Hopefully I won't need to worry and we'll both be celebrating in the near future!

Hmm, I am confused and a bit worried now.

How come I can carry it over and you can't??

Some of mine were done on 2003 standards albeit I did them in 2010/2011!

    So were mine....

I started in 2004 took levels 2 and 3, then did level 4 in stages and the qualification was then transferred to 2010 standards.

Think I will be ringing Kaplan again.

Just to give an indication of current turnaround times, I found out this evening that I passed my FNST exam which I sat on 19 December - which is 5 weeks and 4 or 5 days, so inside the 6 week target.

It was listed on MyAAT but I haven't had an email with feedback yet.

Good luck to anyone else who is waiting
