ICAS estimating costs

Hi I am unsure where to start with costing of implementing a new accounts system such as sage. Do I just need estimate peoples wages and how much time it will save? I have no idea with it being a case study it will just be a complete guess.

    Do I just calculate it the savings that it would be just for the accounting function I am basing my project on or the whole department as it would affect them all?

    For my cost estimation, for salary I used an average salary checker and included the link in my methodology. You could do similar for an accounts package costing too :)
