Work Experience Requirement?

Hi all.
I've just been looking through the work experience requirements for MAAT, as I hopefully should be finishing level 4 this year.
I don't work in accounts role, though I have had some exposure to the accounts and competed minor tasks so far.
I'm wondering if for the 'Personal Effectiveness Competencies' I can use examples from my work that are not accounts role related? In my mind I can tick off most if not all of them with examples from my current position.
As for accounts related competencies, I'm pushing to get more and more exposure to the accounts so I think I'll be able to genuinely have some examples that fulfil the 'Financial Accounting' competency over the next few months.
There doesn't seem to be a number of hours work requirement? I thought that there was so has this changed?
Thanks
Richard

Hi @richf
You're right, we used to have a number of of hours requirement, but we did away with this last year. Under our new criteria, it’s the skills you gain, not the hours you do, that count towards your work experience. You can learn more at https://www.aat.org.uk/countskills.
With the work experience competencies, the personal ones do not need to come from an accounting and finance based role, so you will be able to submit the evidence from your current role.
You would need to use an accounting role for the technical competency.
Let me know if you have any other questions. You can also give our team a call on 020 3735 2468.

Thanks @ChristianB
I'm as I think I'll be finishing the project around late summer/early autumn should I start recording competencies now?
I read somewhere that those over 6 months may have to be redone?

Thanks,
Think I'll put off the application process for a couple of months then, at least until I've finished a couple more modules and know I don't need resits for sure.
